When installing new audio equipment in your car, remember to install the mid-range speakers lower down and the tweeters higher up, ideally at the level of the driver and passenger’s ears. If your car has room for factory tweeters, it may be worth using them; otherwise, you can install them on the side pillar.
When mounting the midrange speaker, connect the ends of the previously primed wires correctly. Most of the time, the tips are already pre-terminated by the manufacturer and clearly marked so that you can easily connect the “+” wire to the speaker’s “+” output and the “-” wire to the negative. Now, simply screw the speaker onto the MDF panel with a screwdriver.
Tweeters are installed similarly to mid-range speakers. Finally, the tweeter grilles (or pillar covers, if the tweeters are mounted in this location) and the door panels should be attached.
